Welcome to my website! My name is Malcolm Field, and my passion for sea glass started with my wife and my daughter - we've always enjoyed long walks on the beach together, and as a child my daughter used to pick up sea glass from the sand, and keep it as her "special treasure". Years later, remembering her words, I started to do the same...

Eventually however, my wife decided that enough was enough, and announced that the six boxes of sea glass scattered across the house was "making our home smell like a beach!" She had a point. So I began to turn it into the sea glass jewellery you see here. Each piece is unique, individual and beautiful in its own way. You never know where it's been or what it's seen, 'the mystery is in the history' and that's what makes every single piece a special treasure to me - hopefully you will feel the same way about yours! 

While on the beach I also pick up heritage slate which I hand paint with Stags, Highland Coos and Horses. I add background create atmosphere and I call them "In the mist". I also do "In the mist" canvases to match my slates of many different sizes and can be contacted about commissions.
